Fletcher was the founder and CEO of Providence Service Corporation based in Tucson. In early 2013, Fletcher launched a new Tucson-based home-health-care business; Sinfonía Healthcare. Fletcher’s grandfather moved to Tucson in 1930 and his mother graduated from Tucson High School in 1942. Fletcher is a 1974 graduate of the University of Arizona and now serves on two University of Arizona boards and is the University’s 2011 Alumni of the Year. He relocated his billion dollar company headquarters to its downtown location in May 2010, renovating an entire block of abandoned buildings that now house the company headquarters, commercial lease space, residential apartments and a restaurant. Since then he has been engaged in all things downtown as a private sector catalyst for development, spending over $10,000,000, he helped launch Second Saturdays, a monthly music festival that now attracts over 10,000 people a month downtown, he became Chair of the languishing Fox Theater which is now the cornerstone of downtown revitalization, he was invited to join the Treo Chairman’s Circle, Chamber Board and the Downtown Partnership board. He is one of Tucson greatest philanthropists having endowed the Museum of Contemporary Arts, initiated the corporate giving program for the Tucson Museum of Art, funded the downtown facade grant program and sponsored the Cafe Bohemia at the Arizona Theatre Company.

He is widely known as downtown Tucson’s greatest fan and has traveled extensively visiting other revitalized or revitalizing urban environments, sharing ideas with a number of organizations. He is credited as one of the private sector leaders that has “skin in the game” and is determined to celebrate a vibrant, world class downtown.
