Mark Irvin CCIM, SIOR commitment to community service distinguishes him as one of the most active members on the Rio Nuevo Board. Irvin has been engaged in commercial real estate activities in Tucson since 1983. He manages his family commercial real estate portfolio and real estate brokerage and consulting as the Managing Member of Mark Irvin Commercial Real Estate Services, L.L.C. He holds an Associate Degree in Transportation and Business Management from Eastfield College and a B.B.A. in Business and Finance with a minor in Real Estate from Southern Methodist University, both located in Dallas TX. Mark also holds professional designations as both a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and Society of Industrial and Office Members (SIOR) Office Designate. He has held both designations for 20 years and was the first person in Tucson to hold both. Irvin has assisted many charitable and professional organizations in various leadership positions including but not limited to: Rotary Club of Tucson; Southern Arizona Leadership Council; Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce; American Red Cross; Boys and Girls Club of Tucson; Big Brothers and Sisters and Pima Community College Foundation. Irvin has received numerous awards for his service to our community including the first national “SIOR President’s Commitment to Community Service Award” ever awarded. The most recent and prestigious was being named by President Obama with the Lifetime President’s Volunteer Service Award that was presented to Mark in October 2011.
