Jeffrey Hill is the Sole Practitioner of Hill and Hill Accounting and has been practicing in Tucson for over 40 years. Jeffrey is a Registered Lobbyist representing the Arizona Society of Practicing Accountants. A graduate of the U of A with an accounting degree, Hill served as a Senior Accountant for an international mining company before entering the Arizona State Senate where he served six terms from 1979 through 1991. He was elected by peers as Senate Majority Whip in sixth term. He served three terms as Chairman of the Finance Committee, the prime committee for all tax and pension matters before Senate. He also served one term as Chairman of the Government Committee, the prime committee for all legislation relating to counties, cities and state government. Hill served three terms on the Appropriations Committee. He has also been active in local community service with the Boy Scouts of America as a District Officer and current Treasurer of the Catholic Committee on Scouting for the Diocese of Tucson and 4th degree Knight of Columbus – Council Financial Secretary.
