Mark C. Irvin CCIM, SIOR commitment to community service distinguishes him as one of the most active community members on the Rio Nuevo Board. He is also the District’s longest tenured board member and has been engaged since the State of Arizona took control and appointed him in March 2010.

Mark is the Managing Member of Mark Irvin Commercial Real Estate Services, LLC a boutique commercial real estate firm that focuses its efforts on office, medical and investment real estate.  Irvin has been engaged in commercial real estate activities in Tucson since 1983.

He holds an Associate Degree in Transportation and Business Management from Eastfield College and a BBA in Business and Finance with a minor in Real Estate from Southern Methodist University, both located in Dallas TX.

Mark also holds professional designations as both a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and Society of Industrial and Office Member (SIOR) Office Designate.  He has held both designations for 25 plus years and was the first person in Tucson to hold both.

He is engaged in many charitable and professional organizations in various leadership positions including, but not limited to:, the Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Club of Tucson, Boys and Girls Club of Tucson, Pima Community College Foundation, and as an Honorary Commander at Davis Monthan Air Force Base and as a CoFounder of the Arizona Bowl.

Irvin has received numerous awards for his service to our community including the first national “SIOR President’s Commitment to Community Service Award” ever awarded.  Mark has actually won that award twice, another first. President Obama recognized Mark with the Lifetime President’s Volunteer Service Award in October 2011.
