Career launched in 1995 with Merrill Lynch, recruited by Dean Witter, and
then Morgan Stanley, before launching her own business in 2003. Nominated
for the LPL Advisor Catalyst Award. Holds the following security
registrations with LPL Financial: Series 7, 65, 63, 31, Insurance. Registered
with Member Financial Services Institute (FSI) and as an LPL Investment
Advisor Representative in numerous states.
Over the years have given back to the community in numerous capacities.
Former Chairwoman of the American Red Cross State Service Council and former
President of the Community Needs and Preparedness which encompasses a tenstate
region. Served for six years on the Board of Directors for the Southern
Arizona Chapter of the American Red Cross. Served on the board of the Arizona
Town Hall, previous President of Kiwanis de Amigos and a member since 1991.
Served as Treasurer and Chairwoman of the Board of Directors for the Tucson
Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and have been a member of the Advisory Board
for Southern Arizona Community Bank. Served as President of the Sunnyside
School District Foundation Board. Currently serve with Tucson Airport Authority
(TAA) as member of the TAA Audit Committee and appointed by the Governor of
AZ to local board of the Public Safety Personnel Retirement System for TAA.
Previous title designations with TAA: Chair of Board of Directors. member of
Finance & Risk Management Committee, Treasurer, Secretary and Vice Chair of
Board of Directors. Currently hold board positions with Southern Arizona African
American Museum (secretary), Community Foundation of Southern Arizona
(Trustee and Co-Chair of Community Investment Team).
Received Tucson Business Edge’s “Top 40 under 40” award which recognizes upand-
coming business and community leaders under the age of 40. In 2009,
inducted into the Sunnyside School District’s Old Pueblo Cross Country Hall of
Fame and Honor. Also nominated for the 2009 Women of Influence Award, which
distinguishes women leaders who are making a difference in our community. In
2020, inducted into the Sunnyside School District Hall of Fame which
demonstrates significant contributions to Sunnyside School District and/or
community, achievement in chosen profession and leadership, innovation
contributing to academic success, quality of life for community.
