The Rio Nuevo District invested $900,000 in the historic Hotel Congress to support expansion plans to complete the new Century Room, formerly the Copper Hall, in addition to the plaza on the north side of the hotel. Owners Richard and Shana Oseran, longtime downtown advocates, created the upscale jazz club and improvements to the plaza to accommodate more music events and dining.
