The area west of I-10 and downtown Tucson is one of the longest continually inhabited areas in North America; it literally is America’s oldest neighborhood and Tucson’s newest. Ultimately what will make this place special is the community of people that live and work here. The west side will be home to the future MSA Annex, a new retail center made from modified shipping containers, Monier Apartments, and West End Station, a mixed-use development. All projects are planned as a LEED standard, sustainable, transit-oriented development with commercial and residential buildings.
The MSA Annex, part of the greater Mission District project, is a shopping destination made from modified shipping containers. MSA Annex is currently under construction as of April 7, 2017.
The Monier Apartments appeal to young professional men and women that work downtown. If offers downtown lifestyle living with small, high quality units. The roof deck is designed to provide a social scene that residences can enjoy and meet their neighbors.
West End Station
West End Station is planned as a four-story, 94 unit apartment with commercial lease on the ground floor. The apartments will be marketed to the region’s median income range and is anticipated that most residents will work in the area along the streetcar route. The complex will have a central open-air courtyard with landscaping and gathering areas.
